How to telnet using Putty?
To use PuTTY to establish a Telnet connection, follow these steps:
1-Download and install PuTTY: If you don’t have PuTTY installed on your computer, you can download it from the official website: https://www.putty.org/
2-Launch PuTTY: After installing PuTTY, launch the application.
3-Configure the Telnet session:
- In the “Host Name (or IP address)” field, enter the IP address or hostname of the target device you want to connect to via Telnet.
- Make sure the “Port” is set to 23, which is the default port for Telnet.Select the “Telnet” protocol.
- Leave the other settings as default unless you have specific requirements.

7-Interact with the Telnet session: Once connected, you can interact with the Telnet session by typing commands and receiving responses in the PuTTY window.
